MAYVILLE, NY – Uncover the gateway to unleashing your full potential and seamlessly transitioning into adulthood at The "Real" Game of Life Resource Fair, where Chautauqua County youth will find a wealth of invaluable resources and unwavering support awaiting them.
Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and Social Services, in collaboration with Gustavus Adolphus (GA) Family Services, YWCA Jamestown, and Court Appointment Special Advocate (CASA) are co-hosting this resource fair on April 3rd, 2024, at GA Family Services from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Geared towards Chautauqua County youth aged 14-21, The "Real" Game of Life Resource Fair aims to support young adults in the community as they transition into adulthood. This FREE event invites all teens and young adults residing in Chautauqua County to connect with local organizations offering support in various aspects of adult life, including employment, education, housing, finance, transportation, healthcare, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from area agencies, participate in live life-skill demonstrations, and win exciting prize baskets. By engaging with vendors, attendees will earn raffle tickets for a chance to win prize baskets and an e-bike package valued at over $1,200.
Past participants include local banks, educational institutions such as SUNY Jamestown Community College, employment agencies like Job Corps and Chautauqua Works, as well as community organizations like Prevention Works.

The "Real" Game of Life Resource Fair is a collaborative initiative between the Independent Living (IL) Program of Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and Social Services, Gustavus Adolphus Accountability & Responsibility (GA A&R IL) Program, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chautauqua County, and YWCA Jamestown.
