JAMESTOWN, NY -- For over a decade, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Jamestown Community College has hosted the Women in Networking (WIN) Chautauqua program every month. This program is for female business owners and women working in the business sector. The program is also sponsored by Community Bank.
On August 10 we will be meeting in person to enable woman to exchange ideas, experiences, and address challenging issues. The SBDC has helped to build productive business relationships that benefit women throughout the region with this program. Cost to attend the lunch in person is $15 with check or credit card. This event will take place at Jamestown Community College, Carnahan Building, Room 123. To make a reservation or for more information on this monthly program, contact the SBDC at 716-338-1024 or go to our website at www.sbdcjcc.org.
The next WIN program will take place on Thursday, August 10 at 12pm at JCC and will focus on social media and the top pain points of business owners. Social media is meant to create a community that speaks to your target audience about their pain points, which you can solve with the service or product you sell. Our speaker, Erica Rose, freelance social media manager and content creator will focus on creating, posting, interacting, and engaging your audience, brand awareness, using social media algorithms and analytics, and tools to improve your social media platform performance.
The SBDC will also celebrate Bobbie Thompson during this event for her 15 years working with the Women in Networking program. Bobbie has been a leader and facilitator for the Women in Networking program and instrumental in helping members connect to each other, promote women owned businesses, and provide material in a practical manner easily understand by all that attend. We wish her well as she retires from this position and moves onto the next journey.
