MAYVILLE, N.Y.:-- Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel has announced the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) operations at the Hall R. Clothier (HRC) Building located at 7 N. Erie St. in Mayville, N.Y. will reopen to the public on December 5, 2022.

“I am pleased to announce that DHHS will reopen to the public on December 5,” said Wendel. “I thank Josh Rothwell, Assistant Deputy Director of Public Facilities, and his Buildings and Grounds crew for all of their hard work. I also thank our residents for their patience.”

Due to a water line break that occurred at the HRC Building on November 2, 2022, the second, third and fourth floors of the building, which house DHHS programs and services, were closed to the public. With this reopening, the Public Health, Environmental Health and Social Services Divisions will be open to the public and anyone wishing to access these services can do so by going to the second floor reception desk.
